Presently I have to mouse click on top "Folder" then mouse click on "Compare Directories..".
You can assign any shortcut for Compare Directories function in Configuration > Settings... > Shortcuts page.
When I select any option, list on my left active window changes color to blue for mismatched files but right inactive window even when having different files, does not change color.
JM should select files that are different in both panels, not change color. In active panel they will have one color and other color in inactive panel.
My default date/time settings are dd/mm/yy HH:mm which show as this everywhere : 07/08/12 05:32 but on JM this shows like 7/9/12 5:32.
Can this be edited to show as 07/08/12 05:32
If System is selected for Date Format, then suppose it's bug in JM. You can try to change date format in Display Settings page.

1. I have no issues on the present forum software but I have a better option to suggest. JM is using FluxBB Bulletin Board Software whereas most popular applications like Firefox, Thunderbird, VLC Media Player are using PhpBB Bulletin Board Software https://www.phpbb.com/ which to me appears to be better than present. It is more user friendly as well has some inbuilt options like informing message posters when new topics are added to their topics also many features while posting new topics, among many others. This PhpBB is an open source applications and is totally free. Therefore I suggest you Sir, to think over this, and if you find this one better, to change to the newer application before this forum gets too big.
phpBB was the first candidate for the JM's forum, but we couldn't install it because of hosting provider limitations and hosting service has already been paid for the year ahead.
2. I suggest you post this application on all the popular download sites so as to make this application exposed to larger user base, so that this application gets more popular in quickest time.
Already done, some of them listed on awards page: http://justmanager.ru/awards
3. Consider creating Torrents with extensive tags which will help popularizing to bigger audiences. If you wish and permit, I can assist to upload Torrent links for this application at most popular Torrent sites.
I don't have possibility to seed torrents.
4. To add feature immediately to alert users when a new release is put up and if that takes time at least circulate such information to the forum members.

5. Perhaps a "What is New" Email to members of this forum on future version would be liked by many. Please think on this.

ЗЫ Хорошо бы, если иконка не нашлась подставить какую нибудь стандартную..грубо говоря как винда для неизвестных типов файлов.

1. Can the bar on top containing "File/Edit\View" etc and their options be activated ?
Example : Folder/Compare Directories with something like Alt+F+C
Can you describe in more details.
If you want to add or edit any button toolbar you can right click on toolbar > Customize...
If you want to add any shortcut(hotkey to these commands) use Configuration > Settings... > Shortcuts page.
2. I have black task bar on my Windows XP and my task bar icons are very small (19). When JM is running, I have its icon displayed on my task bar. This icon has very dark color therefore it is not properly visible.
Currently JM has only one icon, so you cannot change it. In future we will add new icon or refresh current.
I found there are New Releases of JM.
Is it possible to alert JM users when New Versions are available (when starting JM) ?
JM doesn't have autoupdate. Will be introduced in future versions.

You can lock these folder tabs. Open all folders and click right mouse button on each tab > Lock (navigation allowed).

Темы в Just Manager существуют с самого начала. Сейчас я только создал ветку на форуме для тем.
при использовании браузера хром при скачивании возникли такие проблемы, после щелчка по ссылке на скачивание выдается такой экран http://img689.imageshack.us/img689/136/image3be.jpg
Не знаю почему так происходит, но все браузеры пытаются открыть этот xml как аудио файл.
Я попробовал сменить расширение на theme, но все тот же результат.
вторая проблемка в том, что скачиваемый файл почему-то имеет расширение мр.3
Вообще непонятно, так как файл по ссылке имеет расширения jmt. Зачем браузер меняет его на mp3 неизвестно.
и третья проблема в том, что тема не до конца срабатывает
Тема срабатывает правильно, но надо помнить, что тема не содержит настроек типа "Стиль Explorer для панелей" или "Использовать системные цвета для табов". Их вы должны отключать отдельно.

Command Prompt should take keys only when Letter mode turned off for Quick Search.
This should work for letters and numbers also.
Nothing to do with folder names.

Дело не в том, что это не реализовать, а в том что некорректно на одну комбинацию клавиш ставить несколько функциональностей.
К тому же это не просто добавление хоткея. Нужно создать внутреннюю команду и реализацию, добавить строки в словарь, нарисовать иконку и т.д.
P.S. там не treeview, а listview.

А исключительно для табличного режима? Left_Arrow - Переход в начало списка (Home), Right_Arrow - переход в конец списка (End).
Еще раз повторю: в JM стрелки используются для горизонтального скроллинга панели во всех видах.
Ctrl+Key_Down - для перехода в командную строку JM.
Ctrl+Enter для вставки имени файла под курсором в командную строку JM.
Да, возможно будут удобны.

Arrow_Left - переход вверх, на первый элемент списка, если не в корне, то на строку "..". (альтернатива кнопки Home)
В Just Manager реализовать это нельзя, так как стрелки используются для горизонтального скроллинга панели. В TC, Unreal Commander скроллинга нет.
P.S. Обычно в менеджерах Left/Right Arrow - переход в командную строку.
Insert - Выделение/снятие выделения текущего элемента с переходом вниз на следующий.
Выделение в стиле TC в планах, но когда это будет реализовано неизвестно.

Вот все реально сетевые элементы дочерние к "Вся сеть" должны открыватся. Остальное не поддерживается пока.
